ADULT SWEEPS
PREREQUISITE: Completion of six weeks of instruction at the Learn-to-Row or Recreational level or by permission of the coach.

DAYS & TIMES: Tuesday/Thursday, 5:30–8 pm; Saturday/Sunday, 7–9:30 am
REQUIRED UNIFORM: Club Uni-Tank or Club long sleeved.

Racing Fees are pre-determined and MUST be paid in full no later than 2 days prior to the race.
Athletes register for ADULT SWEEPS and based on technique, hard work, erg scores and boat cohesion coaches will determine line-ups. All athletes will have an opportunity to race if they choose to, but all athletes are not guaranteed to race at every regatta. The following Regattas will be boated:

- Head of the Fish; Saratoga, NY, Saturday, October 26th (Race fee included in fee)
- Tail of the Fish, Saratoga, NY, Saturday, September 28th ($40)
- Head of the Passaic; Rutherford, NJ, Sunday, October 13th ($65)
- Head of the Charles, Boston, MA, Saturday, October 19th & 20th ($150)
*HOCR entries are by LOTTERY unless our teams finished in the top 50% the previous year. HRRA places our lottery submissions based on the number of registrations as of AUGUST 30th. HOCR line ups are at the coach’s discretion based on performance during the early part of the season and athletes chosen to attend the Charles will be required to pay an additional $150 fee to cover the race expenses for this event. Athletes will be notified by October 8th if they are invited to compete and the fee must be paid by October 15th.
ALL athletes must have a Basic USRowing Membership ($9.75) and an online waiver completed. If you have already paid the membership under a different club name you must log in to the USRowing portal and add Hudson River Rowing Association to your club affiliations by the first day of practice.
HRRA Program and race fees do not include uniform, hotel, traveling expenses, or USRowing membership (when applicable). Athletes are responsible for these additional expenses. HRRA does not provide adult chaperones for unaccompanied minors.
