8th ANNUAL HUDSON RIVER ROWING INDOOR SPRINTS ~ RESULTS

In 2000 HRRA held the first Indoor Sprints in the region and junior and masters athletes from all over Dutchess County attended. The race has continued to be a popular way to kick off the spring scholastic season, giving all the teams an opportunity to display the results of their hard winter’s training. The race has a growing number of Masters competitors as the regional teams get more competitive and start training earlier as well as the increase in erging as a popular activity at gyms for non-rowers.

Race Between the Bridges ~ Saturday, July 19
We invite teams from up and down the Hudson Valley to attend our race and after a morning of racing we all gather for a barbecue.

We will revive the historic Poughkeepsie Regatta, once the domain of elite colleges, and open the river to scholastic, college and community rowing teams in this 3 mile race.
