COMMUNITY PROGRAM EQUIPMENT
The Patrick Furr Fund
The Patrick Furr Fund, established in 2003 to honor a well loved coach and teammate, is supported by donations and fundraising events, the proceeds of which are then used to purchase equipment to support the HRRA community rowing programs which Patrick was an integral of. Donations through the Patrick Furr Fund have enabled HRRA to purchase rowing shells, outboard motors, our regatta tent and many other much needed items for the benefit of our community rowing programs.
A recurring and popular event that has developed in Patrick's name is the Furrfest - an all you can eat Japanese dinner held annually in November. Sushi lovers and friends of Patrick gather at Edo Sushi in Hyde Park, NY to enjoy great Japanese food and remember our friend. Keep checking our Current Events page for the next Furrfest and contact us if you are interested in joining this fun and tasty event.
The quest for equipment to serve our programs is never ending, we still need sculling equipment, launches, motors, cox-boxes, oars and shells ~ please help us expand our equipment and services by making a tax-deductible donation to HRRA of any amount, for any reason or at the following levels for naming opportunities:

$10,000 ~ Double Scull
$7,000 ~ Single Scull
$3000 ~ Launch
$2250 ~ Oar Plaque (represents the purchase of eight sweep oars or 6 sets of sculling oars)
